Repairers of the Breach

Joining together, these figures bring new energy and peace to our world.

As a young adult I was hopeful for our future when I read lines from Isaiah 57-58, read each year on the holiest day of the year in the Jewish calendar. ), Isaiah 57-58. To me, these passages speak of clearing old patterns and healing generational pain to make room for new ways of shining our light and being of highest service in this world. It says:

And God will say, Make a Path, Clear the Way… Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, And thy healing shall spring forth speedily; And thy righteousness shall go before thee; The glory of the Lord shall be thy protection.

Then shalt thou call, and the Lord will answer; Thou shalt cry, and He will say, “Here I am.’ If thou remove oppression from thy midst, Open scorn and words of malice; And if thou bestow thy bread to the hungry, And relieve the afflicted soul;

Then shall thy light rise in darkness….Thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; And thou shalt be called, the repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
