The 23rd Letter

It is said, when Moses broke the tablets, the letters flew off. Twenty-two returned to become the Hebrew Alphabet. When the  23rd returns, we will have PEACE.

Before setting out on 30 days of silence to receive The Alphabet of Vibration, I bargained with the voice directing me to be in silence and paint. I said, “If I do this, I want to know what the 23rd Letter is! I want peace!”

This image came to me so powerfully in a dream when the assignment in my Transpersonal Psychology program was to create a “self portrait”. How could this be a self portrait? I eventually understood it to be the Light that We Are and my representation of the 23rd Letter.

This makes sense to me because on tefillin (the prayer box worn on the forehead of observant Jews) there is a 4-pronged Shin, a letter that is not in the alphabet. That missing letter represents higher consciousness. Some say it is the Messiah, some say the Feminine Energy (Shechinah – the Feminine Face of God).

The missing letter returns now because we are ready to awaken to our expansive selves in these predicted times.
