Movies of empowering women who face great odds and triumph are so inspiring to me. I’ve gathered three of my favorite movies and can’t wait to share them with you!

We’ll gather at the Joyful Light Studio, share a light homemade dinner, watch the movie on the “big screen” I have set up and stay for a bit of post-movie conversation to share our impressions and take-aways.

Popcorn will be served!

The main idea for these evenings is to get together with friends, be inspired and have a fun time.

In the film, Dinah is the daughter of Jacob and Leah. Jacob’s favorite wife Rachel is the mother of his favorite son Joseph, Dinah’s favorite brother. Jacob’s two wives are important characters to watch to learn about women’s relationships and power.

Dinah’s love story leads to complications within the family and sets the story off on its detailed and wide reaching journey. Along the way there will be incidents of great love and great hate; births and deaths in this far sweeping drama.
